Nxburst takes out heavy reinforced concrete pillar
With 35mm rebar on 4″ centre’s and 25mm stirrups at 2.1/4″ centre’s this concrete break up was no easy task. Western Mechanical asked Coogar Sales to design a blast plan to help bring this tower down by compromising one pillar with Nxburst. Using 14034 and 10034 Nxburst cartridges set within the column in a 4′ section, the column’s rebar was weakened and bulged to facilitate the demolition.]]>
